Every batch of Rani's Mixture begins with Rani's recipe and is made by hand in small batches in our Wembley kitchen.
She developed this recipe long before anyone called it a business: crisp gram-flour noodles, spiced boondi, baked cashews and peanuts, hand-cut cassava chips and curry leaves, all fried in pure sunflower oil. Friends and family kept asking for "Rani's mixture" — and the name stuck.
It's the mixture that comes out when guests arrive. The bowl that empties before the tea is finished. The bag packed into suitcases heading abroad, because nothing tastes more like home.
The Great Taste judges awarded it Gold — twice — and called it "virtually flawless." Rani just calls it the way it's always been made.

We have family members from New York who specially place an order and they also love it so much. I love the fact that you can ask for extra nuts for a small extra charge. I absolutely love the mixture and I have never had such tasty cheewara ever before. Thank you so much for always sending us outstanding quality product. One of the best mixtures that are available in UK. It is a must item of our weekly groceries :) Delighted to know about the delivery service.
overall balance in the mix is week. I expected more nuts (paid for additional nuts) and the more pieces of Cassava chips. When you launched the produce it was very good balance. The mail part of the mixer also bit on the hard side. I enjoy eating but these are my personal observations,

Whilst I am enjoying the quality of the Bombay mix, I did pay for extra nuts - there wasn't much evidence of any nuts, let alone extra nuts.
The mixture is absolutely tasty, and you can tell that it’s fresh and homemade. No funny smell like the ones you buy from Asian shops. I have been buying from rani over a year and a big fan of their stuff.
This is absolutely the best bombay mix in town and tastes just like ones back home in Malaysia!
